July 24, 2026 • General More updates to the website to include the Project Updates section. This will function as a field journal of the project as a whole. I will update the project log when anything of importance or interest occurs.
July 22, 2026 • General I updated the website so the reference library of threads can be publicly viewed. This is a huge step forward in including the community in this project.
July 20, 2026 • Reference Library I received a generous donation from SB001 in February of 2026. Today I catalogued all 39 of those sample threads. I am incredibly thankful for the vast variety of the contribution and call this a wonderful start to the reference library of threads.
July 15, 2026 • Methodology I finalized the procedures for all phases of the Thread Testing for Lace Making project. This includes research I still need to complete, a plan to finalize and test all patterns, cataloging thread contributions, photography protocol for completed lace samples, and book development.
